MPower is an exclusive leadership development initiative designed specifically for Black male educators serving in leadership roles within public schools across the country. Whether you are a principal, dean, head of schools, managing director, district leader or hold another leadership position, MPower provides the dedicated space and tailored support you need to grow, thrive, and lead with impact.
We recognize that Black male educational leaders face unique challenges as they navigate the complexities of school leadership. MPower is not just a network—it’s a community designed to cultivate your leadership journey in a space where your experiences, perspectives, and ambitions are centered. Through this program, participants receive access to a powerful ecosystem of mentorship, peer collaboration, and research-driven leadership development that strengthens their ability to create systemic change.
With students at the core of our work, MPower equips leaders with research-based competencies to refine their system-level lens, hone adaptive leadership skills, and enhance organizational management as leaders of color. This exclusive space allows Black male school leaders to engage in open, authentic discussions, gain insights from experienced mentors, and develop strategies to drive equity, excellence, and innovation within their schools and districts.

Black men account for less than 2% of all educators in the United States making targeted development, resource allocation, collaboration and coaching for this particular demographic incredibly scarce.
MPower was created to fill this critical gap.
Program Includes:
Leadership Retreat
The MPower Cohort launches with a powerful cohort retreat to foster connection, engage in strategic growth, and co-construct a shared vision for a year of impactful leadership.
Cohort Sessions
MPower's monthly cohort sessions cultivate community while focusing on adaptive leadership practices, equipping Black male educational leaders with the tools needed to navigate and drive systemic change.
Coaching & Mentorship
Each MPower Leader receives 10 hours of coaching and support from a Black Male Leadership Coach in the form of virtual coaching sessions and/or site visits.
Masterclasses & Masterful Events
MPower leaders gain exclusive access to masterclasses and private events with education pioneers, including leadership summits, invitation-only networking events, executive roundtables, fireside chats with top leaders, and VIP receptions at select national education conferences.
